The drain plug is at the lowest point of the MTX in the middle. Drain old fluid. Replace drain plug and torque to 30 ft-lbs (could not find torque value in manual). Remove coolant reservoir. You can BARLEY see the fill plug looking from the front driver's side of the vehicle to where the drivers side half-shaft enters the transmission.

There's a fill/check plug on bottom of the pan. It's a allen head bolt counter sunk in the pan(in the round hole on bottom of the pan. You need a fish tank hose attached to your transmission bottle and fill till the fluid starts running out the hole just like you fill a rear end.

Pry off the fill plug, which is located along the side of the case, using a large screwdriver, while the level-check plug still off. Add VW automatic transmission fluid in small amounts with a syringe until fluid starts dripping out of the level hole. Reinstall the plugs with new seals. You may also need to replace the cap on the fill plug.
