i have same problem with mine. Even though ive got the fuse box cover fitted it seems to still let some water in when i go carwash. Again, goes into limp mode and seems to rev itself! the warning light i get are the toxic fume light and a coil shaped light.

Where is the fuse box on a Renault Clio - Answers
The fuse box on a Renault clio is on the near side, ie left side looking out of the passenger seat. Gently pry off the cover on the left hand side of the dash the fuses and spairs are underneath the cover, there is also a engine fuse box under the bonnet same side again these fuses tend to carry a heavier load.
