The issue I am having is the nest will kick the AC on and run for about 1-2 minutes, the Jan 06, 2015 · In my old thermostat my E wire was shorted to my Aux wire, which doesn't appear so from your picture, but maybe they both go to the same terminal on your heat pump/air handler and you wouldn't actually need both with the Nest thermostat.
