Minolta MD Macro Rokkor 100mm 1:3.5 I was a little disappointed with this list of Minolta Manual focus lenses. With the potential of the A7 series of cameras the standard Minolta’s are Ok but its the “exotic” minolta lenses that can sing on the Full frame E mount.

-- You would be much better off getting the Olympus 35mm f3.5 macro or the Olympus 50mm f2 macro if you can afford it. Both are incredible lenses and will be a better match for your E-520. I have the Minolta 50mm f3.5 macro and have been very happy with it,

The new lenses now featured a rubberized focussing grip and since the upcoming cameras had a finder read out of the aperture, the aperture ring was black. This was a biggest change in the design of the Minolta lenses so far, and it was kept until the end.
