annotate depth symbol question. - Autodesk Community
Re: annotate depth symbol question. also, thanks for the replay, as you can see I found a work around, which I dont actually think is a good one. but it got the end result I need in this case.
Thread Depth Specifying - Sanity Check Requested
Looks like you are dictating order in your above example, as the "other hole" has to exist first. I've designed my share of hydraulic manifolds, and I always made my call outs to include the diameter and depth of every hole or feature. For general thread depths I would simply put "<depth symbol> THREADS".
What Are Some Engineering Drawing Symbols You Should Know
One frequently used symbol in engineering drawing is counterbore, represented by a line drawing of a square with no top and often labeled C’BORE or CBORE, a cylindrical flat-bottomed hole that enlarges another hole. In mechanical drawings, a counterbore symbol indicates that a fastener, such as screw head, must be flush or below a surface.

Engineering is the discipline, art, and profession, that applies scientific theory to design, develop, and analyze technological solutions. In the contemporary era, is generally considered to consist of the major basic branches of chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering and
Solved: Inventor Table Insert Depth Symbol With ALT
Inventor Table Insert Depth Symbol With ALT Character Code I am trying to insert the depth symbol into a general table and cannot find the ALT code or any other means of being able to insert it. I am doing this because I want one Hole Table for my part but it has holes in different views, if they would just fix this problem I would need to worry!ha ha.
Section 10: Basic and common symbols recognition
PDF fileSection 10: Basic and common symbols recognition PURPOSE This section aims to enable the student to extend their knowledge of Drawing Interpretation from Engineering Drawings produced to AS1100 standard. Objectives At the end of this section you should be able to: o Interpret information on detail drawings of engineering components.
Engineering Design Representation - UFL MAE
PDF fileIntroduction: Engineering Design Representation Despite advances, 2D mechanical drawings are still the most popular format for design documentation. Automated extraction techniques allow mechanical drawings to be developed directly from 3D geometric models, simplifying the process. However, some
