MAIN RELAY REMOVAL: The steps below show removal of the relay from a right-hand drive 88-91 CRX, however the steps are exactly the same for the left-hand drive model. Before doing anything else I suggest you look into the fuse box in the engine compartment and under the kick panel on the drivers side interior. Check for any blown fuses and then report that back. There is a fuse diagram on the cover of both boxes and there are some spare fuses in the box. The shock that you got may have also blown a fuse.

In our setup we decided to relocate the battery and the main fuse box which both normally sit in the engine compartment. I thought this would make for a cleaner setup. The plan was to pull the main fuse box into the passenger compartment and mount it on the firewall behind the glove box, since the AC was gone there is now lots of room there.
