Okay, I am wiring up the JVC stereo wiring harness to the Subaru harness (aftermarket). My question is, what do I do with the blue wires (remote lead)? Do I leave attach the them together (from each harness). Do I use it as the power antenna lead? Thanks, Scott

A bit of info, I would consider myself not electrically inclined at all when it comes to wiring or electronics. I've done HID kits and have also swapped my headunit from the 6.2" Clarion unit found in the base/premium models to the 7" Starlink headunits found in the limited/STi, but that's about it.

I have a 2005 Subaru Impreza and I have installed a pioneer stereo headunit. Now the am & fm radio reception is very poor. There is a blue wire coming from the back of the new headunit with “antenna power wire” written on it, which does not connect into the wiring harness conversion kit.
