BMW's forth generation 5 Series vehicles, known by the chassis designation E39, were sold between 1995 to 2003. Although the E39 was replaced by BMW E60 in 2003, the E39 Touring models continued production through the end of 2003.

Can anybody help me find an BMW E39 523I Engine diagram so i can identify all the parts. i have had a cable snap but it isnt the throttle cable. it is located on the inlet side air filter. Any help gratefully recieved.
