How to manually switch wireless networks on the BlackBerry
If the Network Selection Mode field is set to Automatic, the BlackBerry smartphone automatically connects to another wireless network when travelling outside the home wireless network coverage area. The BlackBerry smartphone can be set to manually search wireless networks and then configured to connect to them.
The Network Mode and Network Selection Mode - BlackBerry
Network Mode provides control over the type of network to connect to, such as LTE, 4G, 3G, or 2G. Network Selection Mode can be set to automatic or manual. If set to manual, the user will be able to choose the network to connect to from a list of currently available wireless networks.
