Having had Selespeed and manual of 156s, I'd go for the manual everyday. It responds more directly in my opinion. You're not waiting for electronics to do their thing. Admittedly it is a clever system, but I also think the manual is faster than the Selespeed. Having said that, more Ferrari 360 drivers go for the (£6000 more) F1 system.
