A model database can contain more than one model; if you plan to work on multiple models simultaneously, they must be stored in one model database. The model database in use is known as the current model database; ABAQUS/CAE displays the name of the current model database across the top of the main window, as shown in Figure 9–1.

Material data definition
The material definition in Figure 2 illustrates a case where the material data are not regular since ϵ 11 ≠ ϵ 12, ϵ 21 ≠ ϵ 22, and ϵ 31 ≠ ϵ 32. Abaqus/Explicit will also regularize data involving multiple independent variables, although the data provided must satisfy the rules specified in Input Syntax Rules.
