3PH MOTOR WIRE DIAGRAM
Power distribution configurations with three 3ph power lines
Local distribution. Power leaves the substation on three, three-phase “hot” power lines that are strung adjacent to highways or along local roads to points of use. All three phases share a single neutral line and have the same voltage, but they are 120 electrical degrees out of phase with each other.
How to use three phase motor in single phase power supply
Hi Nasir, You can try to use VFD or inverter to drive your submersible pump inverter input power supply is single phase 240V and it will convert to 3 phase output to your motor please consider your Inverter current (ampere) rating same rated or higher than motor FLA of thumb to sizing your inverter is –> FLA x 2 = VFD current rating.

Look for a connection diagram on the nameplate or inside the have a 1HP 230 1PH motor but I was going to make 4-5-6 inches driving wheels and it seems tedious compared to finding a 3PH+VFD motor. Be sure to get 4 wire for the run from the VFD to the motor and 3 wire from the plug to the VFD. Dan October 15, 2018 at 1:37 PM

PDF fileinput/output terminals. Never connect the AC motor drive output terminals U/T1, V/T2, and W/T3 directly to the AC mains circuit power supply. 5. Ground the VFD-EL using the ground terminal. The grounding method must comply with the laws of the country where the AC motor drive is to be installed. Refer to the Basic Wiring Diagram. 6.
Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR) Explained
How TTR is Measured. The turns ratio test is capable of detecting shorted turns in the winding, which indicate insulation failure by determining if the correct turns ratio existsted turns may result from short circuits or dielectric failures. Measurements are taken by applying a known low voltage across one winding and measuring the induced-voltage on the corresponding winding.

If the circuit breaker trips (fuse blows or opens), a load short may exist. Correct short or open circuits and test again. Step 3: Check control unit wiring. • Earth/ground terminal connection
electrical - Why Do 240V Circuits Not Require Neutral
simple answer. You check the wiring diagram for what the device requires and if it says 240v 1PH or single phase -thats just two hots and a ground and if the device says 240v 3PH or 3 phase then its two hots, a neutral, and a ground.
