Crankcase Ventilation System on CJ3B
The 1956 CJ-3B Parts List shows a vent on the rocker arm cover on top of the cylinder head (#1 in the diagram): Jim Sammons describes the purpose of this system: "Most of the F-heads I've seen vent out the top of the valve cover. A hose runs from the vent to the intake manifold where the crankcase vapors are sucked into the engine and burned.
